Prizes Awarded Through Sogang University Meta One Official SNS Follow Events
Sogang University Graduate School of Metaverse announced on the 21st its participation in the "2024 Innovation Talent Symposium" (November 22-23, Korea Chamber of Commerce International Conference Hall). The "Digital Innovation Talent Symposium" facilitates sharing and spreading research achievements and career exploration among digital innovation graduate schools. This year's theme: "Digital Innovation Talent, Leading Korea's Future," co-organized with the Ministry of Science and ICT, IITP, and the AI Graduate School Association. Participating institutions: 42 graduate schools across 4 fields (AI, AI semiconductors, metaverse, convergence security) plus LG U+, FuriosaAI, LG Electronics, WINS, Vibe Company, 42Maru, ETRI. Keynote speakers from Google and NVIDIA; program includes digital talent development status presentations, panel discussions, graduate student achievement presentations, and corporate recruitment sessions.
Sogang University Graduate School of Metaverse activities: admissions counseling, enrollment information sessions (Vice Dean Park Sang-hoon presenting), outstanding thesis presentations, and industry-academia cooperation project presentations including "Team MaRi" (XR/AI companion dog care), "Meta Plogging" (environmental cleanup with Hyundai Construction), and XR X-ray.
