Sogang University Metaverse Graduate School to Build 'Andre Kim AI Creative Platform'

Sogang University Graduate School of Metaverse's AI technology and "André Kim Design Atelier" fashion design are joining forces to reinterpret the late André Kim's creative world through AI. The two organizations announced an MOU for jointly developing an "AI Creative Platform" fusing AI technology and fashion design on the 25th.

Through the agreement, both parties plan to jointly develop a platform enabling real-time interactive creative support by combining André Kim's design copyrights with AI technology. André Kim Design Atelier will provide all intellectual property rights of the late designer André Kim as AI training data, enabling the AI-based creative model to learn his unique design philosophy and style — expected to be an important case presenting a new paradigm of AI-based creation, not mere design restoration. Atelier CEO Kim Jung-do: "It's deeply moving to be able to revive my father's creative world through AI technology — I hope his distinctive aesthetics that he dreamed of will inspire a new generation."
