On-device AI → Processes Data Locally Without Storing on Apple Servers
Private Cloud Compute → Maintains Privacy When Server Requests Are Needed (Independent Security Verification)
Apple is introducing Apple Intelligence to Apple Vision Pro starting in April. The February visionOS 2.4 update added various AI features including "Writing Tools," Image Playground, and Genmoji, along with a new "Spatial Gallery" app and the iPhone Apple Vision Pro app.
Apple Intelligence features for Vision Pro: Writing Tools (rewrite, proofread, and summarize text in Mail and any text-writing space); Image Playground (create fun images instantly); Genmoji (create custom emoji from the emoji keyboard to add to Messages, share as stickers, or send as Tapbacks). Apple Intelligence will be available in visionOS 2.4 beta for users with device and Siri language set to US English, with more features and supported languages to be added throughout the year.
Vision Pro exclusive enhancements: Spatial Gallery — a curated collection of spatial photos, spatial videos, and panoramas from creators including photographer Fouad Zayed and organizations like The Explorers, plus brands Arc'teryx and HYBE; iPhone App for Apple Vision Pro enables seeing iPhone's screen in Vision Pro and using iPhone apps within the spatial computing environment. Apple Intelligence prioritizes privacy through on-device AI processing and Private Cloud Compute — maintaining privacy protection even when server requests are needed, with independent security verification.
