Jeonnam Information & Culture Industry Promotion Institute (JCIA) announced successful completion of "Family Metaverse Experience Education" sessions. Held twice, the education was designed to provide elementary school children and parents in the province with opportunities to build understanding of digital technology and communicate in the metaverse world. Approximately 40 families participated, accessing popular metaverse platforms Roblox and Ditoland to learn usage methods and experience virtual spaces together — parents and children collaborating on Roblox games and building digital communication skills. Ditoland's virtual tour of diverse South Jeolla Province regions also received strong response. JCIA President Lee In-yong: "We plan to further activate metaverse experience education to support easy digital technology access for everyone regardless of generational gap — we expect the foundation of metaverse industry to expand further throughout regional society through diverse support from the South Jeolla Metaverse Support Center."
