KG Mobility (KGM) announced on the 3rd that its Rexton Sports (export name: Musso) was named Best Pickup in Australia for the second consecutive year by Drive, a leading Australian automotive online media outlet (Car of the Year 2025), following its Turkey award in January — earning recognition for product quality and marketability in both domestic and global markets. Drive noted: "Rexton Sports offers superior product value compared to competitors through years of continuous improvement, with a powerful powertrain, stable driving performance, comfortable and quiet cabin, and advanced safety and convenience features."

Australia's automotive market, with many consumers enjoying outdoor activities with caravans, shows growing market share and sales for SUVs and pickups — a significant growth opportunity for KGM. Since establishing its first overseas sales subsidiary in Australia in 2018, KGM targets 7,000 units export this year. KGM set a 10-year high record in 2024 (over 72,011 units, up 18.2% from 2023's 52,754), recently launching the Actyon in Turkey in January for its first global event of the year. KGM plans to expand sales through successful launch of new models including Musso EV and Torres Hybrid, plus new market development.
