Global Digital Innovation Network (GDIN, CEO Kim Jong-gap), a private foundation under the Ministry of Science and ICT supporting early-stage innovative technology companies' global expansion, announced results of the "2024 ICT Creative Enterprise Development Program." Since 2013, GDIN has operated the program supporting 3,000+ companies — alumni include unicorn companies Sendbird and Riiid (over 1 trillion won valuation). This year, 122 promising early-stage tech companies were selected, receiving 1,860 specialist consulting services (legal, patent, accounting, marketing) and technology demand matching opportunities at 13 events with 69 companies (including Salesforce Dreamforce, Vodafone ScaleUp-X, Continental Open Innovation). Results: companies attracted 194.7 billion won from overseas investors, totaling 345.3 billion won in investment; 193 overseas business contracts; 14 companies established overseas subsidiaries. Excellence Award winner: Tilda (AI-based industrial intelligence solutions for process optimization at Hanjin Paper, SeAH Steel, etc.), receiving the Ministry of Science and ICT Minister's Award and currently conducting 4 POCs with global companies in Japan, US, and Europe.
