Korea Photographers Association (Chairman Yoo Su-chan) is holding the "9th Korea Photography Festival" at aT Center Yangjae, Seoul (December 4-8, 2024), supported by Seoul Metropolitan Government as the main program of the 2024 Seoul Photo Festival. Theme: "Photography is Always Close to You" — all exhibitions free, with smartphone photo free printing service and photo events with professional photographers for citizen engagement. Special exhibitions: (I) "The Great Han River, Flowing with Light" — Han River night scenes representing Seoul's history and development; (II) "Daily Photo Contest and Youth Photography Award Exhibition" — citizens' and youth works capturing artistic moments in daily life; (III) Chinese artist invitation exhibition "Eternity, Immortality" — prominent and emerging Chinese photographers exploring tradition, modernity, humanity, and nature; (IV) Photography Department Exchange Exhibition — works by Hongik, Jaeneung, Jungbu University students and KPA scholarship recipients showcasing young artists' fresh perspectives. 150+ artists participate in the booth exhibition featuring diverse works including photographer Hong Chang-il's 1988 Olympics photos, Indian "Kumbh Mela" series, and Yeongwol County tourism photos.
