Cultural Diplomacy Transcending Borders and Languages.
Visitors Become Not Mere Tourists But Members of the World.

At Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, special festivals unfold daily where different nations and international organizations take center stage — "National Day" and "Special Day." The expo venue transforms beyond a simple exhibition space into a living stage of global culture.

Each nation/region participating officially in the expo can have a day as "National Day" while international organizations hold "Special Day" — the day becomes a celebration of their culture. This isn't a symbolic event but an opportunity for participating countries to invite dignitaries, showcase their identity and charm through traditional performances, culinary experiences, music, and folk events. National Day programs: traditional art performances (folk dance, instrument recitals, ceremonial performances); traditional cuisine demonstrations; crafts and costume exhibitions; workshops and lectures. For Korea: hanbok fashion shows, K-POP performances, Korean cuisine experiences, traditional instrument demonstrations, with official ceremonies featuring high-ranking officials and diplomatic envoys.

Special Day: hosted by UN, UNESCO, EU, ASEAN and other international organizations, featuring education seminars, exhibitions, and performances centered on global cooperation, sustainability, and cultural diversity. Both events carry symbolic meaning as venues for international understanding, friendship, and "cultural diplomacy." Visitors can check the schedule through the official Expo app or website to plan visits around their preferred nation's National Day. "National Day and Special Day are not mere one-day events — they are participation and connection platforms where one nation becomes the protagonist of the expo and the world knocks on that nation's door."
