6. What Are the Core Values of Smart Home?

Samsung Electronics at CES 2025 (Las Vegas Convention Center, Central Hall) presented a new smart home vision under the slogan "Safe and Easy Home AI Experience" — three core values: safety, personalized experience, and ease of use for all users. Knox security technology: the invisible guardian protecting the smart home environment; all Samsung appliances mutually check security status, encrypt data, and protect the home from external threats through Knox; first in the industry to receive UL Solutions'' IoT security evaluation''s highest "Diamond" grade. SmartThings integration: all home appliances connected through SmartThings in one platform — refrigerator, washing machine, AI speaker, lighting, vacuum cleaners, even vehicle management integrated; household situations detected and appliances preemptively managed (refrigerator detects food spoilage and notifies, washing machine learning habits to recommend optimal cycle). Personalization: AI learning lifestyle patterns to provide customized services — the screen becoming the personalization interface (Samsung Frame TV functioning as information hub, recipe suggestions, health management, all integrated into display). Bespoke AI: customizable design + AI intelligence; refrigerator maintaining optimal temperature for different zones; washing machine analyzing fabric and weight to automatically adjust washing conditions. Core insight: Samsung''s smart home vision positions Knox not as a technical specification but as the trust foundation enabling users to accept AI''s deep integration into their home — "safety enables personalization" rather than treating them as tradeoffs.
